Nonwovens Industry has added a searchable database of hygiene companies and brands to its website at nitesh_non.rodpub.com. The directory, also featured in the print edition, will replace static manufacturers’ lists that have been a popular destination on the website for more than five years. The searchable database includes more than 60 global companies and 200 hygiene brands spanning the baby diaper, adult incontinence and feminine hygiene markets, and will be updated regularly by Nonwovens Industry’s editorial team.

The directory allows web viewers to search for a company or brand by name and product type and also features company listings broken down by country. In addition to company headquarters and contact information, the search tool gathers recent news about the company and its brands to shed light on recent activity in the segment. 

“The directory is a comprehensive list of diaper, adult incontinence and feminine hygiene manufacturers based around the world,” says Nonwovens Industry editor Karen McIntyre. “We spent weeks researching companies and brands to make this directory as accurate and up-to-date as possible. We will continue to add companies and brands as we become aware of them.”

After noticing how popular the static directory pages were on nitesh_non.rodpub.com, attracting thousands of visitors per month, Nonwovens Industry decided to make the information more prominently featured on its home page. The directory can be accessed right from the home page, giving the web audience an easy-to-use, and easy-to-find, tool for learning about companies involved in hygiene, no matter their size or location.

“The hygiene directory pages are among the most bookmarked pages on our website,” says Nonwovens Industry publisher Matt Carey. “We decided a searchable database of companies and brands was a tool our readers wanted.”
